ABOUT THE CCESC…..

The Clermont County Educational Service Center is located twenty five minutes east of downtown Cincinnati in Batavia, Ohio.  Among the largest educational service centers in Ohio, the CCESC provides support services to seven local and two exempted village school districts.  Together these districts enroll over 28,000 students.

Our organization is dedicated to providing high quality administrative, curricular and instructional model programming, professional development, innovative strategies, techniques, materials and resources to the schools of Clermont County as we assist them in reaching their educational objectives.

Special Education services provided by the Clermont County Educational Service Center include school psychological services, special education program development and supervision, related services, such as speech and language supervision, consultation and therapy, occupational and physical therapy and work-study.  We provide paraprofessional staff and interpreters to assist our districts in meeting the educational needs of their students.  Also, by providing teachers, paraprofessionals and supervisory support, we coordinate, staff, and operate:

  • Three innovative classrooms designed to meet the unique needs of students with Autism and Communication Delays

  • A separate facility serving students with emotional disturbances, kindergarten through twelfth grade

  • A comprehensive, integrated preschool program for children, ages three through five

Customized assistance from planning to implementation distinguishes the efforts of our Educational Service Center staff to address the needs of school districts in a professional, positive manner.  Our staff is comprised of friendly educators who are dedicated to providing leadership and flexible service delivery as well as maintaining awareness of current educational trends and research-based practices.
