STAFF HEALTH AND SAFETY
The Governing Board requires that all candidates for positions of
employment in the Educational Service Center undergo a tuberculosis
examination, as required by law.
The Governing Board may require an individual examination of an employee
whenever, in its judgment, it is necessary to protect the health and
safety of students, teachers, and other employees.
The results of all required medical examinations shall be made known to
the Superintendent or local administrator, as appropriate, on a
confidential basis, discussed with the employee, and made apart of the
employee’s record.
In the event of an unsatisfactory report, the Superintendent shall follow
Governing Board policy relating to un-requested leaves of absence.
