ADMINISTRATION IN POLICY ABSENCE
In the absence of Governing Board policy, if in an emergency situation the
Governing Board cannot be reached by telephone, the Superintendent may
take temporary action which would be in accordance with the overall policy
of the Governing Board; however, the Superintendent will not be free to
act when the action involves a duty of the Governing Board, which by law
cannot be delegated.
In each case, the Superintendent will present the matter to the Governing
Board for its consideration at its next meeting.
