Clermont College
ABLE/GED Class
When?
Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Class starts at Where?
Clermont College 4200 Clermont College Drive.
The class location is PETE 205.
This is at the far-end of campus on the second floor. What?
Classes in writing, math, reading, science, and social studies.
Classes cover a variety of skill levels.
Each student moves at his or her own pace.
During each class there are group lessons and individual time with
the instructor. Assignments
are customized for each student. Homework
is not required, but it is recommended. Why?
Students enroll to improve their skills.
Most students are working toward a GED, but not all. Some
just want to learn to write better. Some
want to learn more in order to help children with their homework. How?
With patience and courage. It will not happen overnight, but it will happen.
Everyone can learn. The
instructor is aware of the fact that we all learn at different speeds and
in a variety of ways. Parking: Park
in spaces with white lines. Yellow
lined spaces are for the teachers and staff only.
You will get a parking ticket if you park in spaces with yellow
lines. Bring: Please
bring paper, pencil or pen. Also
bring your folder from orientation. Bring
a snack if you would like. Food
and drinks are allowed n the classroom.
