Clermont College ABLE/GED Class

When?  Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Class starts at
8:30 A.M. sharp.  It is recommended that students be a little early if possible.  There are two breaks given during each morning.

Where? Clermont College 4200 Clermont College Drive.  The class location is PETE 205.  This is at the far-end of campus on the second floor.

What? Classes in writing, math, reading, science, and social studies.  Classes cover a variety of skill levels.  Each student moves at his or her own pace.  During each class there are group lessons and individual time with the instructor.  Assignments are customized for each student.  Homework is not required, but it is recommended.

Why? Students enroll to improve their skills.  Most students are working toward a GED, but not all.  Some just want to learn to write better.  Some want to learn more in order to help children with their homework.

How? With patience and courage.  It will not happen overnight, but it will happen.  Everyone can learn.  The instructor is aware of the fact that we all learn at different speeds and in a variety of ways.
