ONE
STOP ABLE Class Who can enter this
class? Anyone who wants to
improve basic skills, improve English language skills, improve
possibilities of obtaining a job, or earn a GED. What do I have to do? Come to the BWRC on
any Tuesday or Thursday morning by 9:30 A.M.
Tell the receptionist at the front desk that you have come for the
ABLE class. She will direct
you to our classroom. When should I start? New students begin
throughout the year. Every
student is different. Your
completion depends on your previous experience, your attendance, your
willingness to work in class and at home, and your own rate of learning. Where will I take the
GED test? The GED test is given
at Clermont College. The
8-hour test requires testing sessions on two Saturday mornings from 7:45
A.M. until noon. We will help
you prepare for the test and tell you how to make the arrangements. Why is there
homework? Homework is suggested
so that you can reach your goals as quickly as possible. If your work schedule or home environment do not allow you to
work at home, you can still meet your goals by working in class. We are ready to help you get started toward your goals
