Hi, my name is Kathy Kong. I teach the adult education/GED class at Amelia Library. Our class meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Please bring your orientation folder your first night of class. Our class works basically as a traditional class would. I teach and assign work, which you can do in class or as homework. You might wonder how I can meet your individual needs in a large group. The answer is; you will take placement tests and make a plan in a private conference. The plan may include small groups, independent work you do on a subject, computer work, and other special materials and lessons. I also plan lessons for the whole class to address things many people in our class need to learn. It doesn’t matter how long you have been out of school or how far you went; you can earn a GED!
